About Will Hunt

I’ve spent my career building relationships, solving problems, and helping manufacturers keep their operations running. After more than 20 years in sales and industrial distribution, I decided to put that experience into building something of my own.

After graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where I played Division I baseball, I began my career in the building products industry before moving into industrial distribution. Over the years, I built and grew a successful sales territory by understanding customers, responding when they needed help, and earning their trust.

Many of the people I first met as customers have become genuine friends—relationships I value more than any sales number or award. I’ve always believed that doing right by people, following through, and being there when needed are the foundations of a successful business. Those values shaped my career and led me to start Hunt Industrial Systems (HIS).

Industrial customers need more than someone who can quote a part number. They need a partner who understands their equipment, recognizes the urgency of downtime, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and takes responsibility for finding solutions.

I built HIS to put relationships first, keep communication direct, and provide responsive, flexible service. Whether sourcing a hard-to-find component, identifying an interchangeable part, improving inventory practices, or solving an unexpected maintenance issue, my goal is to bring experience, practical knowledge, and urgency to every challenge.

HIS is about more than supplying bearings, power transmission components, pumps, valves, fluid power products, and other industrial supplies. It’s about becoming a trusted resource for the people who keep manufacturing moving.

Outside of work, my greatest pride is my family. I’m fortunate to have a wife of 20 years and two teenage daughters who mean everything to me. Their support has been central to this journey, and building HIS is also about creating a future for my family while pursuing something I believe in.

I know what it takes to earn trust and deliver results. Now, I’m bringing that same commitment to my own company.
